If you’re visiting this site, chances are you’re interested in saving Byrne Avenue Baths. The site has been set up quickly following a hastily created steering group. It is our aim to set up a trust to secure the future of Byrne Avenue Baths. If you feel able to offer your support we will be adding contact details here shortly. Even if you feel you can’t help, drop us a line and tell us your memories of Byrne Ave.
In the meantime you can follow us on twitter or listen to Radio Merseyside 12-2pm today.
Hi I was one of the swimming teachers made redundant (although we have received no redundancy as of yet) from Byrne ave and I have a big following of pupils so if there is a chance of it reopening you can expect my help.
Hazel, you should have mentioned in your post that you have set up a facebook page. I think the admin of the site has caught it now and has linked to the Facebook page. You may want to link back to this site and to the twitter page if you can….
Andy
Thanks Hazel. Your comments are appreciated. We are doing all we can to get Byrne Ave up and running. watch this space.
As the mum of one of Hazel’s pupils I would like to offer my support. My two daughters spent the last four years at Byrne Avenue and were devastated to find that it had closed, especially without the chance to say goodbye. The quality of teaching was exceptional from everyone and we would be thrilled if it could be re-opened.
